M80 have become the final team to secure a spot in the upcoming Thunderpick WC 2025 Closed Qualifier after winning the North America Series 2. Their last test involved taking down a Wildcard roster that has faced multiple problems of late, with roster changes galore. In the end, it was the tournament favorites who emerged victorious.
M80 are heading to the Thunderpick WC 2025 Closed Qualifier

This was ultimately a speedy series in favor of M80, who were able to beat Wildcard 2:0 while only dropping ten rounds along the way. Overpass and Ancient were the battlegrounds here, but neither were particularly competitive.

For M80, it would be unfair to pluck out any one player as a star performer; each player showed up, hence why they could dump Wildcard out in such convincing fashion. Over on the other side, only Peeping gave a good account of himself, leading to more questions about the long-term future of this troubled roster.
M80 now have the chance to go on and compete in the Thunderpick World Championship 2025 Closed Qualifier. A spot in the main event isn’t quite secure yet, but they’ve kept their names in the hat for the chance to go to Malta for the LAN finals in October.
