The six Playoff teams at IEM Krakow 2026 are officially locked in, after the Group Stage concluded today in Poland. We’ve had drama right until the very last round, with some losses that could determine the future of entire rosters. As Counter-Strike prepares to enter the Tauron Arena in Krakow, we’re recapping all the action from the final day of the IEM Krakow 2026 Group Stage.

FURIA were able to keep their nerve and survive into the IEM Krakow 2026 Playoffs, putting a stop to an impressive Astralis on their LAN debut. The opening map of Overpass went the way of Astralis; it’s becoming something of a specialty for this team at the moment. FURIA looked uninspired, and they would have to rally if they were going to make it through to the Tauron Arena.
Things looked to be coming up Astralis on Mirage, a winning first half putting them in pole position to 2:0 the series. But a FURIA fightback ensured that Astralis would be denied their quick win, with a KSCERATO barn-burner showing the big difference between the teams.
The momentum in the series had shifted, and you could see that from the off in the Nuke decider. FURIA raced to a 9:3 lead, having finally bought molodoy enough time to play his way onto the server. And although Astralis would mount a brave comeback in the second, that early lead of FURIA’s proved to be too big a mountain to climb. FURIA eventually claimed a 13:9 win, locking in their spot in the IEM Krakow 2026 Playoffs, finally living up to their pre-event expectations.

Overtime. It’s always Overtime. Down in Group B of IEM Krakow 2026, the Lower Bracket was stacked with a MOUZ vs. Falcons matchup. Two teams, for whom Playoffs is the absolute minimum expectation, with one guaranteed to miss out. It was always going to be a banger, and MOUZ would eventually prevail after numerous Overtimes. Just two rounds separated this from being a Falcons 2:0 in regulation, but it wasn’t to be.
The first map of Inferno was separated by the IGL difference. Where kyxsan managed to put up 11 kills for Falcons across 30 rounds, Brollan managed a solid 21, keeping MOUZ in the fight. They required just one period of Overtime to put an end to Inferno, and MOUZ had secured their own map pick.
Up next was Dust2, which is where we saw most of the stars come to life. The big names were delivering, although torzsi had a much tougher time than those around him. This one was drama, back and forth, eventually requiring two Overtime periods to find a winner. Falcons had their chances, it has to be said. But, as they so often have, they fluffed their lines, allowing MOUZ the chances back to reach the Playoffs of IEM Krakow 2026.
Elsewhere, the seeding matches have determined that Spirit and Vitality will start the Playoffs in the Semi-Finals, having beaten G2 and Aurora, respectively.
