FaZe Clan has announced that EliGE has been moved to the bench after the team’s latest failure at the Esports World Cup 2025. The move brings to an end the North American rifler’s eight-month association with FaZe Clan, following his move from Complexity at the start of the year.

FaZe makes decision on future after dismal 2025

It has been a terrible year for FaZe Clan so far, and the team even went as far as to bench broky for s1mple as a Hail Mary solution to their problems prior to the BLAST Austin Major. It did not see a turn in their fortunes, with the second 2025 season starting with disappointment at IEM Cologne, BLAST Bounty, and the Esports World Cup.

Individually, EliGE ends his time on FaZe Clan with a 1.11 rating, indicating solid form on the rifle. However, the balance of the team has been all wrong, and it seems that benching EliGE is seen as the next step forward to righting the FaZe ship.

According to the organization, he remains contracted to the team “as we consider our options going forward.” The player himself has since released a statement, claiming that a new chapter is “coming soon.”

In his place, FaZe have since announced that youngster jcobbb is coming in from Betclic Apogee.
