Falcons CS2 roster benches Magisk as kyousuke signs as replacement

Magisk’s Falcons benching is no surprise

Magisk’s benching from the Falcons CS2 roster will come as a surprise to very few. Over the last three months, he has maintained a difficult 0.97 rating, only 0.01 higher than in-game leader kyxsan. This culminated in a disastrous exit from the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 at the hands of MIBR, which proved to be the final straw for his time at Falcons.

It was unclear who exactly would make way post-Austin Major, but changes were inevitable for the Falcons CS2 roster. Others felt it could be TeSeS, although his 1.06 rating over the last three months is a huge improvement over Magisk’s numbers. IGL kyxsan is largely doing a good job, while NiKo and m0NESY remain untouchable.

In a statement on X, Magisk confirmed his intention to “continue my journey at the highest level of CS.”

kyousuke joins the Falcons CS2 roster

So, with Magisk gone, who comes in as his replacement? The answer is of course kyousuke from Team Spirit Academy. This young talent has been touted as one of the most exciting young players in the world, and rumors have long swirled about whether he could be the next piece of the puzzle in the Falcons CS2 roster.

Prior to the BLAST Austin Major, reports confirmed that kyousuke had agreed to join Falcons, and the team has now confirmed that he has joined the team on a permanent basis. Let’s see how he deals with the demands of top-level CS, as he’ll be expected to come in and contend for the biggest trophies immediately.
