Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz is reportedly close to joining the 100 Thieves CS2 team, putting an end to his Astralis return after three years. The legendary AWPer didn’t quite find the success he hoped for in his return to Astralis, and couldn’t quite live up to the many trophies won during his first stint with the team.

According to a report from Dust2.dk, negotiations to take dev1ce to the new 100 Thieves project are at an advanced stage, with the Danish sniper expected to make the move heading into the new year.

If the transfer comes to fruition, dev1ce would reportedly rejoin gla1ve, his former Astralis IGL, who is seemingly set to kickstart his coaching career with 100 Thieves.

The only piece confirmed for 100 Thieves at this point is former FaZe man rain, who joined the team last month. dev1ce joining this project would represent another experienced head on the server, and it remains to be seen who comes in to make up the remaining three slots. The prevailing theory is that 100 Thieves will buy a core, with the GamerLegion trio of REZ, Tauson, and PR previously touted.
