Sometimes, you’ll find you got the placement wrong. When your full sticker craft is complete, it may not look exactly as you envisioned. Perhaps you purchased a skin from the Steam Marketplace, and the stickers simply aren’t to your taste. There are several reasons you might want to remove stickers in CS2, and the good news is that it’s extremely easy to do so.

How to remove stickers in CS2

To remove your CS2 stickers, open your inventory from the in-game menu. Find the CS2 skin with stickers you want to wipe out and left-click. From the drop-down menu that appears, press the “Scrape Sticker” button.

From here, it’s pretty self-explanatory to remove stickers in CS2. Your gun will appear with all the applied stickers at the bottom of the screen. Click the sticker you want to remove, and you’ll have two options:

  • Scrape the sticker; you can preview the sticker scrape level before actually committing.
  • Remove the sticker, which gets rid of it altogether.

Simply choose the option you want – easy. A note, though: removing stickers in CS2 is non-reversible. You will not get your sticker back if you scratch it off, so bear this in mind when initially placing it, if possible.

Does scraping stickers damage the skin in CS2?

If you’re new to scraping or removing stickers in CS2, then you may be worried that doing so will affect the wear rating of the skin. It makes sense, and it’s a natural leap to assume the two are at all connected. However, there’s no relation. If you remove stickers in CS2, your skin’s wear rating will remain perfectly intact, so you don’t need to worry about damaging it.
