In what can only be described as one of the most amazing team announcements in esports history, Unicorns of Love revealed their new CS:GO line-up.
The all-German team is primarily the former EURONICS squad. Christian “crisby” Schmitt, Oliver “kzy” Heck and Marcus “maRky” Reitenbach are joined by André “Kirby” Kempa and Denim “DeniMM” Ameti. While DeniMM had been standing in on EURONICS toward the end of that team’s run, Kirby had most recently played for DIVIZON.
The team will compete in the upcoming season of ESEA MDL Premier, which begins January 15 and runs through April 4.
Unicorns of Love is known for their five years of League of Legends participation. They fielded a successful European team. Recently, they announced that they would not participate in the LEC, but that they would instead focus on other esports titles
The team announcement features a mesmerizing combination of an inflatable unicorn, a unicorn plushie and the team wearing their eye-catching jerseys and armed with matching pink weapons. It’s a fabulous way to declare Unicorns of Love’s first expansion beyond League of Legends.
