T1 Drops Black^ and Xuan from Roster

Donnie Chell

T1 announced Monday they will be releasing carry player Black^ and hard support Xuan from their Dota 2 roster. T1 is known for their incredible dynasty built in the League of Legends professional scene and only recently began exploring options in Dota 2. The Korean organization originally signed Forev as an individual player and has since added a full roster to play qualifiers from the Southeast Asian region.

T1

Although no official announcement, T1 have removed qzxuan and Black^ from team registration in the Southeast Asian region.

Thus far, the results have not lived up to the standards such a well established team expects with the team failing to escape four straight Open Qualifiers. The SEA region is a hotbed for up and coming talent so there are sure to be replacements available. With the uncertainty surrounding the rest of the Dota Pro Circuit season due to COVID-19 there is no guarantee that efforts to keep the team together will be made.

As for the players, Black^ most recently had been moving into more of a talent role, appearing at several LANs as an analyst before getting the offer from T1. Xuan formerly played in the North American region as the captain of Demon Slayers who qualified for DeamLeague Season 12 where they finished second place to Alliance.
