The Street Fighter 6 patch notes are actually re-balancing characters! Outside of bug fixes, this pretty much only happens yearly. We don’t see major alterations to the balance of how the various Street Fighter 6 characters. That’s outside of the end of the year. Where we get a major overhaul. How have things changed this time? These are all the big alterations in the Street Fighter 6 patch notes this time:

Battle Changes

The big difference with the Street Fighter 6 update this time is the Battle Changes. This is how each character has been altered. This current patch is aiming to buff more than it nerfs. It’s also addressing Drive Rush. This is becoming more consistent across picks.

The Street Fighter 6 balance patch has changed characters individually, but it’s also made some general changes which apply to everyone. The Street Fighter 6 patch notes are full of individual changes too.

All overhead attacks which can combo from a drive rush are now -3 on block. Another overall change is when you press up during the Drive Rush screen freeze. This will now jump. It gives different options out of a drive rush. The big change to the Street Fighter 6 tier lists though will be in the individual character changes.

With this update there’s been big buffs for characters like ken. A lot of picks are just getting their minor changes though, with only a move or two effected since they’ve been fairly well balanced so far.

We tend to get these small changes for most of the characters. Even though the Street Fighter 6 update for balance only comes once a year, it usually takes a more restrained approach to things. These are the changes in the Street Fighter 6 patch notes:
