Seoul Dynasty Signs Overwatch Contenders Roster for Season 3

Amanda Zelauskas

Gen.G, the owner of the Seoul Dynasty, signed an Overwatch Contenders roster for Season 3. Gen.G was sure to hire a strong staff, bringing in Lee Si-woo as head coach and former StarCraft pro Moon “MMA” Sung-won as the assistant coach.

The roster will be lesser-known players from Korea, who are Ye “Anges” Hyun-seo, Jeong “Stalk3r” Hak-yong, Kim “LUKE” Hyun-jun, and Moon “LVLZ” Sung-min. The Dynasty finished their roster will ex-Samsung MorningStars Blue Kim “DNCE” Se-yong and ex-KongDoo Panthera Bang “Shubil” Min-joo.

With his prior experience and veteran status within the Starcraft community, assistant coach MMA will likely be crucial to this roster’s development. The hiring of MMA shows that Gen.G seems to be dedicated to molding the team to be champions while helping individual players excel in their craft.

“Our goal is to provide the top players in Korea with the training and preparation needed to go pro. For that reason, we expose them to coaching systems that resemble the way OWL teams play.” – Gen.G Chief Growth Officer, Arnold Hur.

Gen.G will be providing their players with several accommodations to make sure the team is comfortable and healthy. The new squad will have immediate access to English lessons, physical training, and psychological well-being training. Gen.G is looking to set the “gold standard” for how minor league teams should be run.
