Esports Nations Cup Game Titles – No Major Surprises

The selection of the game titles doesn’t come as a surprise, bringing in a mix of team-based and individual tournaments with high engagement and interest. According to a release, the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) chose a roster of game titles that reflected both the geographic and cultural diversity within esports.

The most popular game titles have all been confirmed, including the likes of Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Dota 2, VALORANT, and more, with all 16 titles also featured in the 2026 Esports World Cup. Game titles like Teamfight Tactics, CrossFire, and Free Fire were not included on the list.

The Esports Nations Cup is expected to see over 100,000 participants compete in the coming months to establish the top nations that will then fly to Riyadh in early November. Earlier last month, the EWCF also unveiled the Official National Team Partners that will help with the recruiting of players and staff ahead of the qualifiers.

Esports Nations Cup has received a $45 Million Funding Commitment

Among the $45 million, $20 million will be distributed as prize pool to players and coaches. The prize structure will be consistent and equal across games:

  1. $50,000 per player
  2. $30,000 per player
  3. $15,000 per player

Coaches will also receive the same payout based on finishing position.

A total of $5 million will instead be given as club incentives for esports clubs that release and enable their professional players to take part in the ENC, with rewards tied to the performance of the players at the event. The remaining $20 million, instead, will be distributed through the ENC Development Fund, which supports Official National Team Partners on logistics, travel, program operations, national team marketing, and other expenses related ot the competition and growth of the national teams.

  • Dota 2,
  • EA SPORTS FC,
  • Fatal Fury,
  • Honor of Kings,
  • League of Legends,
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang,
  • PUBG: Battlegrounds,
  • PUBG MOBILE,
  • Rainbow Six Siege,
  • Rocket League,
  • Street Fighter 6,
  • Trackmania,
  • VALORANT

The competitions will kick off on November 2 with Dota 2 and Chess, and last until November 29, when the League of Legends, Apex Legends, Honor of Kings, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, will crown their respective champions.

Fabian Scheuermann, Chief Games Officer at the Esports Foundation, commented: “The full ENC 2026 games lineup wasn’t built around the biggest titles alone, but to create the broadest possible footprint. No single game can do that – different titles reach different regions and communities, and bringing them together is what makes the ENC truly open. The same applies to national reach: some titles open pathways in a few countries, some extend across dozens. Working hand-in-hand with our partners, we’re creating a shared stage for millions of people, opening opportunities for talent to break through and giving communities a reason to rally behind their teams, bringing esports to every corner of the world.”
