The North American and the Latin American relegation matches at the end of the ninth season of the Rainbow Six ESL Pro League have concluded. Over in North America, 92DreamTeam was the first team to qualify through the auto promotion spot. 92DreamTeam was successful in defeating the Susquehanna Soniqs, 2-1. This is a welcome match for the North American League not only because it’s a team full of new talent, but because NA now has an eighth team to compete after a team disbanding in Season 9.

On the other side of the NA, in the relegation bracket was the defending Rise Nation going up against the Soniqs. Rise Nation has struggled hard throughout the Pro League season, only gathering ten points in the regular season.  Rise’s struggle continued in this relegation series as Soniqs took the series 2-0, forcing Rise down to Challenger League.

As for Latin America, there wasn’t that big of a shift in Brazilian talent. Team oNe Esports and YeaH Gaming had a close series against each other. On the 3rd map, Team oNe managed a strong map on Bank and won 7-3 to receive the auto promotion spot.

In the relegation match between the defending ReD Devils and YeaH Gaming, the map series was  close. Oregon was the first map and it went to extended overtime. ReD Devils took the map with an 8-7 scoreline. The second map on Consulate was a bit more one-sided. YeaH Gaming had a great map and won it 7-3. The final map on Bank was just as intense as the first map. Bank went to overtime where ReD Devils once again took the map 8-7 and secured their re-entry into the Pro League with BM to end the series.

This concludes the relegation matches for North America and Latin America. The European relegation matches are still to come on Friday, May 9. Team Vitality, MnM Gaming and Team Secret will fight for their right to enter the EU Pro League.
