Natus Vincere support Bahadir “Parus” Colak sat down with us to discuss after their LEC Spring 2026 series against G2 about the team’s early game dominance, their struggles in the mid game, and his confidence heading into the upcoming EWC qualifiers.

NAVI have been one of the biggest surprises of this year, fielding an incredibly young roster with tons of potential made up mainly of ERL players who stepped up into the LEC. With a jungle carry-oriented play style thanks to Enes “Rhilech” Uçan’s carry potential, they managed to qualify for the playoff stage despite the loss against G2.

How do you feel about the series?

Parus: Yeah, I agree, I think even though we lost both games, it was okay. I don’t think they gapped us overall. In the early game, first game, we played really good, we were way better than them, but in one direct fight, we didn’t get in position at the time, we were late, then we face checked together and it kind of boomed after.

I think when we lost [the] lead, we kind of couldn’t find solutions in-game, it was a bit tough, but it was fine. Second game, maybe we played a bit poor laning, we were a bit behind, but still we got some objectives, we were doing fine in the game. When it comes to third drake, both games, they kind of gapped us about macro, we couldn’t answer them correctly so they just won.

Luca: Yeah, that thing about early game is a thing that I’ve been noticing from most of your games actually, even last week when you played KC. You had insanely good early games, you were just a lot of gold ahead, and then when it came to the mid-game teamfights, you just seemed like a step behind them in terms of macro and teamfight setup. And this is a thing that could have guaranteed you a lot more wins. And I wanted to ask you…

What really happens backstage, in comms, when those teamfights come and this transaction comes? Who is shotcalling during those moments? Who is the main voice?

Parus: I think it’s not the main voice, but it’s mostly me and Poby talking about position, or how we want to play, or where we want to go from. I think everyone but somebody, because it’s AD carry, is talking; it’s not the main shotcaller. We are just taking turns on what we could do, what we think is best, and how we want to play. Yeah, so everyone is talking.

Luca: Like in the second game, you were doing well, then you went behind, then G2 trolled teamfights, and you came back, and then again you trolled, and then everything came down to that Baron sequence, which was just crazy to watch. And I wanted to ask you what happened during the calls, because you started doing Baron, then you left it, but it actually didn’t reset. So you came back to it, but then Hans came back and killed you all.

What happened in the team that you didn’t manage to just finish this Baron?

Parus: I think it was a bit hard to play, because we were behind, we kind of had to do something to turn the game around at this time, and there was Nash. But I’m the kid that it was the strongest Nash in the game, that does a lot of damage. Maybe you guys saw, it’s like Wukong got one shot, he was 30% HP when the enemy came. And problem is, we didn’t have turn, we didn’t have engage to go on them.

We just kind of praying they int and we get a kill, maybe we finish Nash. We were trying to see what [the] enemy would do and we felt like kind of, it was kind of hopeless play, but I think we shouldn’t have done it; we could just get tempo and play for control and play slow. I think it was kind of a poor decision from us.

Luca: It was a nice try, I mean. And last week, in an interview, you said that you weren’t scared of G2 coming into this game, because they were playing kind of poorly. And I think they didn’t look even that convincing also today. You will play against them again in 10 days in the EWC qualifier.

In your opinion, do you think you can improve enough to beat them in 10 days?

Parus:

Yeah, I think there is not big gap between us. I think in EWC, it will be online, maybe we will feel more comfortable, maybe more confident. We can play more aggressive when we are ahead. Like, we don’t play aggressively in mid game, maybe that will change. I think we have a really good shot. Like, I’m not scared of G2 even though we lost 2-0 today.

Luca: Speaking of playing online and playing in a venue, how was it to play last week in the KC venue during the road trip? Because in the latest NAVI vlog, you actually said that you weren’t anxious at all going into the venue.

Were you chill? How was the team environment coming into such a big stage?

Parus: Yeah, I think none of us were anxious and scared to play. It’s just we got anxious and scared in mid game. Overall, I was really confident. Usually, when you go in-game, you don’t care about the crowd. But when you get a kill or when an enemy gets a kill, that’s when you hear the crowd. When you get a kill, it feels insane; when you lose a kill, it feels kind of bad.

But still, you don’t care about it too much. But for us, it was about in-game problems, not about the crowd. But overall, it was an insane feeling. Playing in front of such a big crowd, it gives you joy. Especially when you win, you are so happy. It’s just full of dopamine.

Luca: In your opinion, because there are a lot of talks about what will be the format next year for the LEC, and there are some suppositions about LEC being played online, then having more road trips…

Would you like to have more road trips with more crowd in more cities than playing always in Berlin?

Parus: I think it is really fun and really exciting to play, but also a bit tiring for people. Also, for teams, it’s not the best time to improve, because when you go road trip, you lose a lot of days to practice. When we went to Paris, we didn’t scrim for four or five days in a row. You lose time, but it’s also really fun. But I can imagine it also costs money to orgs. I would still like to go, but I don’t mind not going.

Luca: You also got selected for the Turkish National as support together with Fleshy. I want to know your opinion about the event, because some rosters have come out, and some rosters still haven’t.

Have you seen anything about it? Are you a bit informed on the event, or didn’t you have the chance?

Parus: Not really, because right now it’s not decided if I will play or Fleshy will play. I don’t see many teams, many countries putting their rosters up as well.

Right now, you know there is a tournament, but you don’t think about it too much. Right now what’s important is LEC.

If I will be able to play, I will play. But if I don’t, I don’t really mind. I will focus on LEC for now.

Luca: Always with the EWC tournament, it showed us another thing during the last days, because we’ve seen ERL teams coming out and beating some LEC teams, in a clean fashion because we saw Solary completely dismantling Fnatic, for example, and also Galions with SK.

Do you think their power state is good enough to compete with most of the LEC teams?

Parus: I think they have decent players, they are playing good as a team, but I wouldn’t say they can compete with most. I think I can say they can compete with bottom 3, bottom 4 teams. I wouldn’t say there is a big gap even between them and us, but I think there are still big macro parts that are missing from them. They won against SK and Fnatic, who are struggling in LEC as well. Every team has a problem, but Solary and Galions played better in those days. They deserve to win. I hope they can keep doing good.

If you would qualify for the MSI or even Worlds, are there any particular players or teams that you would like to face during those events?

Parus: There is always a basic answer that I support, you would say Keria. But I would also like to play against, especially Keria, Peyz and maybe Ruler, Duro, to see how good they are in lane, or are they that good. Maybe I’m over-exaggerating. I don’t think they are unbeatable, but they are still really risky to play against. And maybe I want to play against LPL and see how the Fiesta game is happening. It might be really fun to play against them in scrims, but I don’t know how it’s going to go.
