With the end of First Stand, it’s time to turn our eyes to the upcoming update in League of Legends, Patch 26.7.

League of Legends Patch 26.7 Preview – Only 3 Buffs?!

League of Legends Patch 26.7 – Small update with good balance across the game

Patch 26.6 was a relatively small patch, buffing up some of the underused champions while also nerfing some of the outliers in the game, such as Shen and Zaahen. In the latest post by game designer Riot Phroxzon, he stated that he’s quite happy with the state of the meta, with a “significant diversity” in every role between classes. That being said, there is still a gap in AP jungler and AD mids, explaining that the dev team is in the works to find ways to make them more appealing heading into Season 2.

In the meantime, Riot is bringing a series of nerfs to some of the strong-performing champions, such as Nami, Graves, and Karma, who are doing well both in professional play and solo queue. On the buff side, there are only three changes for the patch, with Cassiopeia, Kalista, and Rell receiving some love.

Shyvana, who ended up getting an immediate hotfix after the release of her rework, is in a decent spot, but is still getting further adjustments as Riot is evaluating her viability as a top laner. To know the exact number changes, check out the section below.

When is LoL Patch 26.7 released?

League of Legends Patch 26.7 will be reaching the live servers on April 1, 2026, according to the official patch schedule. After the release, players will have to wait two more weeks before a new update.

What are the most impactful changes of Patch 26.7?

Now that the full preview is out, there are already a couple of nerfs that are worth looking at. Nami is getting a nerf to her W’s bounce ratio, which will affect her early-mid game power. It won’t make her weak all of a sudden, but it could be felt in early-game trades. The Graves nerf is going to push him down by a bit in solo queue and the same will apply to Karma, who is getting a substantial nerf to her empowered shields.

The Rell buffs are also interesting, although the strong presence of hypercarries and lane bullies such as Caitlyn and Varus doesn’t really favor her return. We will have to see whether her pick rate will go up significantly, although I don’t think it will be the case.
