Riot Games has unveiled the match schedule for Rounds 1-2 of the LCK 2026 season, which kicks off on Wednesday, April 1, with the Telecom War between T1 and KT Rolster (KT).
The Telecom War is a known rivalry in the LCK, as the two teams have produced many memorable series, including the grand final during the League of Legends 2025 world championship, which gave T1 the three-peat after a close five-game series. Currently, T1 holds an impressive 67% win rate against KT, with the latest match being a clean 3-0 victory for T1.
Aside from T1 and KT, the first day of action will also see Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) go up against Hanjin BRION. In particular, HLE will finally make its return on stage after being eliminated early on in the LCK Cup. The first week will see major action for both T1 and KT, with the former facing HLE on Saturday, April 4, and KT going up against Gen.G on Friday, April 3. Gen.G will also have the LCK Cup Final rematch with BNK FearX.
Tickets for the opening match will go on sale starting on March 23 at 5 pm KST. Ticket prices will be KRW 25,000 ($16.70) for the regular round, with play-ins and playoffs priced at KRW 35,000 ($23.37) and KRW 45,000 ($30.04), respectively.
With a total of nine weeks of action, the first part of the LCK 2026 season will determine the top six teams heading to the Road to MSI, which will compete for a spot at the Mid-Season Invitational that will take place in Daejeon at the end of June.
The big match between eternal rivals Gen.G and T1 will take place on April 8 in an explosive day of action that will also feature the match between HLE and Dplus Kia. In the second round robin, T1 and Gen.G will meet again on Saturday, May 16.

Gen.G, on the other hand, will face HLE for the first time on April 18, before meeting them again on the last week of action on May 27. The last match day will see HLE face Hanjin BRION, with Nongshim RedForce and Dplus Kia rounding off Rounds 1-2.
The regular season will also see teams compete outside of LoL Park, with T1 hosting their annual T1 Homeground on April 24 to April 26, and the newly-renamed KRX organizing their first-ever overseas roadshow, DRX Homefront, in Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 8 to May 10.
