Idealo has officially entered the League of Legends Esports scene as a sponsor for the German broadcasts of the LEC, MSI, and Worlds 2026. The price comparison platform will be a key partner for the coverage throughout the year, marking a significant expansion into the German-speaking gaming market.

The partnership begins with the LEC Spring Split. Idealo will be featured on the stream of Tolkin, the official German broadcast partner, as the platform joins the 2026 season.
This new deal will also give the fans the change to have exclusive offers for German fans such as merchandise, raffles and discounts. The platform anyways is not new neither for the German community neither for LoL Esports fans since, it is well recognized in Germany and has also been present in the Esports field through a sponsorship with Movistar KOI.
Charlie Allen, EMEA Director, Commercial Partnerships & Business Development at Riot Games said that:
Given its strong roots in the German market and its increasing popularity among gamers, idealo is a perfect fit for our community. We are therefore very pleased to welcome them to the German broadcasts.
This partnership connects fans in Germany with key moments across seasons –from regional games to the world stage– and is also aimed at an enthusiastic community that values informed purchasing decisions when it comes to gaming.“

Niklot “Tolkin” Stüber is the biggest name in German League of Legends. Since January 2024, he has been the exclusive German broadcast partner for the LEC, but his roots go much deeper. Before moving behind the mic, Tolkin was a force on the Rift, winning the German championship four times as a pro player.
His influence continues to grow in 2026. This year, he took on the roles of President and ambassador for G2 NORD, the new academy project between G2 Esports and NORD Esports in the Prime League. The deal with idealo shows exactly why co-streamers are becoming the backbone of the LoL Esports scene. Their massive reach and community connection are now the main drivers for bringing big sponsors and commercial deals to regional broadcasts.
