Korean esports organization Gen.G Esports (Gen.G) has announced the official grand opening of its own gaming space, GGX, the Gen.G Gaming Xperience.

GGX – redefining traditional PC café

Officially launching this Saturday, June 21, GGX will be a multi-dimensional cultural space, offering high-performance gaming zones alongside food, merchandise, coaching, and community. The gaming café will be located at the Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station in Seoul, with a total of 252 premium gaming stations in a space of 1,570 square meters, and will come with a community lounge with a capacity of over 100 people designed to share the passion for gaming and esports. Gen.G will also be offering coaching programs through its Gen.G Global Academy (GGA).

Additionally, GGX will act as Gen.G’s space where brands, fans, and creators can come together, offering a large variety of experiences, including a photo spot and photo booth featuring Gen.G’s official mascot, GenRang, a merchandise store with Gen.G uniforms, exclusive partner collaboration items, as well as the food & beverage lounge ‘OTOKI G.ROUND’, developed with Otoki and offering signature menu items.

GGX is operated by Superplay, the same company that designed other esports cafés such as T1 Basecamp Hongdae, KT Rolster R Café, and Genshin PC Lounge. Steve Lee, Head of Partnerships at Gen.G, commented: “GGX goes beyond just gaming – it’s a cultural hub where fans, players, and brands come together to create meaningful experiences. Through spaces like this and continued innovation, Gen.G aims to lead the sustainable growth of the esports industry.”

Gen.G GGX Gaming Station Specifications

The gaming stations will come with:

  • NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPUs
  • LG UltraGear monitors
  • Logitech gaming peripherals
  • Gen.G x SIDIZ custom-designed gaming chairs

The hourly costs are as follows:

  • Basic seats – 2,000 KRW (€1.27)
  • FPS seats – 2,500 KRW (€1.59)
  • Elite seats – 3,000 KRW (€1.91)
  • Premium Room – 17,500 KRW (€11.11) on weekdays, 20,000 KRW (€12.70) on weekends

Founded in August 2017, Gen.G Esports has headquarters across SeoulLos Angeles, and Riyadh, fielding teams in League of Legends, VALORANT, PUBG, EA FC Online, and Brawl Stars, among other titles. They are the most recent MSI winners and have won one VALORANT Masters in 2024 as well as several LCK championships. The organization has built a strong portfolio of partners, including LG, Monster Energy, Logitech, SOOP, Descente, Otoki, and SIDIZ.
