Global esports organization Kiwoom DRX has announced the details of its first-ever overseas roadshow in LCK history in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The event has been confirmed to take place at the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 8 to 10. This marks the first time DRX brings an official roadshow abroad, following the footsteps of Riot Games Korea, which held the LCK Cup Finals in Hong Kong.
DRX Homefront aims to reach a wider fan base as it looks to tap into the Southeast Asian market, a growing region when it comes to esports viewership and consumption. The event has been operated in collaboration with StudioKOO, bringing an enriched on-site experience, including an exhibition section, sponsor booths, merchandise zone, and F&B zones.
The matches played by DRX will also count towards the results for the LCK season, with the team going up against Gen.G on Day 1 and Hanwha Life Esports on May 10. According to a release, fan meets and participatory programs will be organized after the match, allowing the team to directly interact with fans.
Just like the roadshow organized by T1 (T1 Homeground), DRX will combine competitive gaming with K-content. While the second day of the roadshow (May 9) will not have competitive action, DRX will host a ‘Fan Festa’, bringing in K-pop group TEMPEST to the event, with other popular Vietnamese music artists, such as Justatee, Phuong Ly, Bui Cong Nam, HanSara, and CONGB, joining the action.
Earlier today, the club also announced TV360 as the presenting sponsor of the event, joining DRX’s other partners, such as travel agency Grand Tour and Grand Plaza.
Tickets for DRX Homefront will go on sale via the ‘VinWonders’ platform starting at 20:00 KST on March 23. Tickets will be available for purchase for both local and global fans.
Earlier this week, DRX announced a groundbreaking partnership with financial platform Kiwoom Securities, officially renaming the team to Kiwoom DRX (KRX). The new brand name will already be in use ahead of the start of the LCK 2026 Season, which has been confirmed to start on April 1.
DRX CEO, Yang Sun-il, commented: “This Vietnam Roadshow is a symbolic step to expand DRX’s reach by interacting with global fans on-site. It will serve as a starting point for moving beyond an esports team to become a content and experience-centric global brand.”
