The best support players in 2026 are the ones who quietly shape how every game of League of Legends is played. Supports are the backbone of any successful team, controlling vision, setting up engages, and enabling their teammates to shine.

Best Support Players in 2026: The Strategic Masterminds Behind the Rift

So, who are the best Support players in 2026? With the first split of every regional league now completed and Bilibili Gaming crowned champions of First Stand 2026, the first real picture of this year’s global Support rankings is finally starting to take shape.

Best Support players in 2026

5. JDG Vampire

Zhao “Vampire” Zhe-Can has climbed to fifth in the best support players rankings following a standout performance at First Stand 2026. Alongside GALA, the support prospect anchored a formidable bot lane that held its own even against the Gen.G roster. It marks a significant turnaround for Vampire, whose early career was defined by awful splits with organizations like Edward Gaming, Team WE, and Invictus Gaming.

Since he started wearing the JDG jersey, Vampire has looked like a completely different player. His rapid evolution over the last few seasons suggests he has finally found the right environment to thrive. At just 20 years old, his ceiling remains incredibly high, if he maintains this level of consistency, he could easily challenge the top three supports in the world.

4. AL Kael

Kim Kael Jin-hong has long been the engine for Anyone’s Legend’s success. While he hasn’t occupied the spotlight throughout LPL Split 1, his utility behind the scenes remains undeniable. Kael functions as the roster’s primary connective tissue, his consistent ability to find clinical engage timings ensures AL’s carries are perfectly positioned to take over teamfights.

When unshackled to roam, his synergy with Tarzan becomes a win condition. This support-jungle duo possesses the map pressure necessary to dictate the tempo of the game regardless of the map state.

3. GEN Duro

Joo Duro Min-kyu takes third place on our best support players list after a massive two-year rise with Gen.G. He fully came into his own in 2025 by proving he could handle the pressure of the international stage. While Gen.G looked unstoppable during their 2026 LCK Cup championship run, the narrative shifted quickly following a rough exit at First Stand 2026.

Gen.G usually crushed G2 in their previous meetings, and Duro was a big reason why. His synergy with Ruler is a major talking point, after First Stand the ADC admitted that their coordination is still not the best, but in his opinion there is still room to grow. During the elimination series that sent them home, Duro was caught out in several bad positions, yet he still managed to show flashes of brilliance that nearly kept his team alive. Even with the recent slump, the Korean prospect remains one of the best support players in the world.

2. T1 Keria

Despite placing second on this specific tier list, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok is arguably the greatest support in League of Legends history. During his time with T1, he has completely redefined the role through elite mechanics, unparalleled game sense, and his ability to dictate the tempo of every match.

What truly sets him apart is a champion pool that feels bottomless. Keria transitions between passive enchanters and aggressive hard-engagers with zero friction. His knack for turning lost fights into victories, combined with his high-pressure clutch plays and natural synergy with every ADC he laning with, only reinforces his status as the premier support in the game. We still haven’t seen him internationally this year so we will not put him in the first position of the list.

1. BLG ON

Luo ON Wen-Jun has emerged from First Stand 2026 as the best support player in the world. While his start to the 2026 LPL season looked a bit rusty, his evolution throughout the tournament was on another level. During the early stages of the split, he was still recalibrating his play style to match Park “Viper” Do-hyeon after spending three consecutive years alongside Zhao “Elk” Jia-Hao.

ON spent the tournament gap-closing every other support in attendance. His roaming timing was flawless, consistently appearing in the right place at the right moment to swing map pressure. When the win condition shifted to snowballing the bot lane, he and Viper dismantled G2 Esports in record time, proving that their synergy has already reached a world-class ceiling.

The other best Support players

  1. BFX Kellin
  2. KC Busio
  3. G2 Labrov
  4. DK Career
  5. NS Lehends

Kim “Kellin” Hyeong-gyu failed to make a lasting impression at First Stand 2026 following some underwhelming performances. However, his strong body of work during the LCK Cup is enough to secure him the sixth spot on our best support players list for now.

Meanwhile, the battle for Western dominance is heating up as Alan Busio Cwalina and Labros Labrov Papoutsakis are without any doubts the best support players of the west. While Labrov was a standout performer at First Stand, Busio has held the title of the best in the West for years, and we don’t believe that throne has been vacated just yet.

One of the most exciting stories of the year is the meteoric rise of Oh Career Hyeong-seok. In his debut Tier 1 split with Dplus KIA, after having breakdown, the rookie showed ice in his veins by handling the immense pressure of their high-stakes series against T1. Finally, Son Lehends Si-woo remains the lone bright spot for Nongshim Redforce. Despite a disastrous LCK Cup run for the squad, Lehends continues to look like one of the world’s best support players who is trapped in a struggling system.
