Wondering who to play with Ezreal in the bottom lane? Here are the five best Ezreal supports for the current season, updated to the latest patch.

Despite not being a traditional ADCs that focuses solely on auto attacks, Ezreal is one of the most popular marksman champions in the game. His skillshot-based kit makes him an intriguing choice for players to show off their skills, and great players will make their enemies kneel down as he constantly dishes out damage from a safe distance. In the modern era of League of Legends, however, it’s still important to have the right support picks with him, making sure he can unleash his damage in any teamfight.
If there is a staple combo, then Karma is the best support for Ezreal. Not only does she offer great poke during the laning phase to maintain high pressure, but she can also help him control the wave in most matchups, which can make a huge difference in some games. While the two fall off later on, you will have plenty of range to play around, spamming poke before imminent teamfights. Karma is also relatively easy to pick up and she is quite forgiving.
While Karma is a balanced pick that can bring both offensive and defensive potential, Lux mostly has the former. She brings more burst damage early on with her combo rotations, increasing the overall kill pressure in the early phases. Hitting a Q on an enemy target will give enough time for both to dish out poke, but even if it doesn’t, you can use the spells to force the enemies to give up farm and experience. That being said, the two can easily overextend while pressuring the lane, so make sure to have enough vision around the key areas and track the enemy jungler’s position.

Nami is one of the most popular enchanter supports in the game and it’s not just because she has strong numbers in the current meta. Her kit is extremely versatile and brings a good balance of damage and sustain in her kit. Her E can easily proc while Ezreal is making trades with the enemy bot lane and she can spam heals to make sure Ezreal doesn’t lose out. With Nami by his side, Ezreal will get plenty of bonus damage later on, which is ideal when you want to play around his poke.
If the other picks are usually lane-focused supports, Bard is an exception. While you can also have him pressure the lane in certain matchups, Bard will get more value by quickly roaming around the map and taking advantage of Ezreal’s self-sufficiency to help other teammates on the map. You can make sure other lanes get accelerated while having Ezreal slowly scale to his item spikes.
Yuumi was previously considered the No. 1 support for Ezreal for a long time. She used to be able to sit safely on the ADC while he slowly farmed to his item spikes, making them almost unkillable later on. The Yuumi changes and nerfs over the past year, however, have made her less of an immediate choice. While the bot lane duo works similarly, they are more vulnerable to getting punished early on. Pick this duo when you’re sure the lane will be relatively easy to manage and whether you’re fine with having to play passively for the first part of the game.
