Are Toy Story Fortnite Skins Coming to the Game?

One of the biggest leaks we’ve seen recently has been for Toy Story Fortnite skins. It looks like this will be the next major crossover, or possibly one arriving a little down the line. Compared to some recent leaks though, it’s a bigger one. We’ve got a good idea of the skins that are coming and more.. But what’s coming to the game?

So far, we only have some early leaks for the Toy Story Fortnite skins. We’re expecting a few key characters to come to the game. These are early leaks so far, but looking at the history of Fortnite Disney skins, it looks like they could be coming soon. The Toy Story Fortnite skins will be an exciting crossover. This is what we know about the leaks so far:

Toy Story Fortnite Skins Leaks

According to Fortnite lakers, one of the next crossovers is going to be Toy Story Fortnite skins. These have been revealed by leakers on X over the weekend. There’s three characters that have been revealed by leaker FNBRIntel. These are the most likely to come to the game when the Fortnite collab begins. These are:

• Buzz Lightyear
• Zurg
• Woody

Two of these are pretty central characters and a third makes a lot of sense considering he carries a gun. That’s usually a hold-up with Disney Fortnite collabs. It has to be characters that make sense with guns which is a bit limiting. These three all kind of fit though. Both Woody and Buzz have guns or lasers as part of their toys, and Zurg has a weird nerf cannon. All three will fit into Fortnite without too much weirdness.

The other bigger concern is the hitbox. At one point this limited Fortnite skins to specific dimensions. That ship has kind of sailed at this point though! We’ve seen some very wackily proportioned characters added to the game. So Woody’s giant head probably won’t cause that much of a problem.

When exactly can we expect it though? The release date might still be a little while away.

When Will the Toy Story Fortnite Skins Release?

Right now, the release date for Fortnite collabs is a bit up in the air. While we’re awaiting the end of the Fortnite season, we are still getting collabs. The game isn’t getting any new content.

Despite that, nothing stop’s Epic’s endless conveyor belt of copyrighted IP for you to buy. Probably because their release dates have to be cleared ahead of time and can’t adjust because of a poorly received BR season. So we’re seeing parts of next season’s map in the background of reveal trailers. But it doesn’t look like Toy Story Fortnite skins will be a part of that.

Instead, they’ll most likely come alter. The next Fortnite season will be a couple of months long but Toy Story 5 doesn’t release until June. That would be the most sensible release date for the collab. This is the most likely outcome, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens. Right now it’s just early Toy Story Fortnite leaks.
