The playoffs at The International 2025 (TI14) continue, with two more teams moving on through the upper bracket today. Both PARIVISION and Falcons are now guaranteed to finish in the top 3 here at, which also guarantees them at least $235,462 in prize money.
PARIVISION getting through was little surprise given how they’ve been performing throughout the season. I say “little”, because their opponents Xtreme Gaming were in amazing form prior to losing to PARIVISION — but now XG will have to fight for their lives in the lower bracket.
Team Falcons also flexed their muscles today, bouncing back from an early setback against BetBoom Team. Despite the throw in the first game, they steeled themselves ahead of the next two games.
Anyone who thought that XG would just run roughshod over the entire upper bracket might be feeling some type of way right now. PARIVISION simply had a field day against them in their match today, crushing the Chinese squad in two highly convincing games. The disparity in skill and confidence between the two teams was as clear as day, especially from the carry position.

That’s right, Wang “Ame” Chunyu has already had his regularly-scheduled meltdown at The International, particularly in the second game of this series. He bought Battle Fury on Bristleback for… some reason, which isn’t really a good idea.
Look, I know he was playing the hero as a carry, and he even got the item 11 minutes into the game. But Battle Fury isn’t one of Bristleback’s core items for a reason. If you find yourself having to buy it on him in particular, then you messed up somewhere in the draft. He probably got it to help deal with the carry Broodmother Spiderlings from PARIVISION, but Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov had a whale of a time regardless.
PARIVISION’s execution was just exquisite throughout this series, and they are now just one B03 series away from making the grand finals. At this rate, I wouldn’t be shocked to see them win it all.
Team Falcons and BetBoom Team have been jawing at each other in all chat for the entire season, and both knew it was time to settle the score on the biggest stage in Dota 2. And with three games played in this series, the score was indeed settled — at least for now.

Falcons held the advantage early in game 1 with a spectacular laning phase. Their roaring start soon ballooned to a net worth lead of almost 10,000 gold, making it look like they had this one in the bag right away.
Unfortunately, this is when Falcons decided to turn off their brains. Clearly getting overconfident after such a great early game, they started making some very questionable decisions, which BetBoom were more than happy to punish.
This flipped the game on its head pretty much instantly in the mid game, and BetBoom made sure to capitalize. With a huge power spike suddenly spurring them on, they did everything they needed to in order to make Falcons really regret getting too cocky.
Falcons bounced back in the next two games though, showing that they do indeed have the mental fortitude to shrug off a silly loss. The second game was just an instant draft win for them, as they saw an opportunity to pick Huskar for ATF against Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko’s Anti-Mage.
And because they faced each other in the same lane, you can probably imagine how that went. Pure was unable to play the game without getting cheeky with a Helm of the Dominator rush, and even then, Falcons’ draft was just something that Anti-Mage couldn’t do much against overall.
Falcons sealed the deal emphatically in the third and final game. Their draft in this one was just perfect from all sides, especially the Mars and Snapfire picks for ATF and Andreas Franck “Cr1t-” Nielsen respectively. The mid Beastmaster for Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak likewise proved key against Pure’s Dragon Knight, as Pure’s BKB pickup was absolutely useless against Primal Roar (R).
The sheer amount of control coming from Falcons’ draft was more than enough to keep BetBoom down. They are now guaranteed to finish on the podium — which is already a better result than they put in last year.
