CS2 fans want Vitality’s apEX to fulfill his hilarious Major-winning promise, and they have receipts

Sometimes, it’s easy to get carried away and say things you don’t mean. And when you’re a public figure like Vitality’s Major-winning IGL Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, I imagine those things can come back to really bite you. He’s always been an emotional person, has apEX, as seen by his antics in the server. But one comment made earlier in the year has fans wanting him to follow up and show that actions speak louder than words.

It all started a few months back, when apEX gave a comment to SHTAB CS about going “completely bald without any problems” if he wins another Major. I’m sure you can see where this one is going. Well, Vitality did in fact win the BLAST Austin Major 2025, defeating The MongolZ in a thrilling Final, and fans are waiting.

For better and for worse, the internet never forgets. And just hours after Vitality’s crowning moment, fans took to Reddit to point out apEX’s previous comment, implying that he should embrace the “Bald Buff” to secure future successes for his team.

One thread by user shuijikou brought back the quote to SHTAB CS, a reminder of what was previously said. Meanwhile, Redditor Previous-Depth-7903 took a more direct approach, creating a mock preview of what the legendary in-game leader could look like embracing the no-hair life.

The people brought receipts and are waiting. Could we see apEX sporting a new look after the player break? Only time will tell.
