PARIVISION and Vitality have become the latest teams to lock in their places in the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 Playoffs. They join Aurora and NAVI, who secured their spots yesterday. As the event moves from Copenhagen to Rotterdam, we officially know four teams that will be making an appearance at the Ahoy.

Poor donk. He must be wondering what he has to do to get some help on Spirit. When faced with Jame‘s PARIVISION side, his Spirit teammates were completely shut down in a series that lacked much individual quality outside of donk’s typical excellence. PARIVISION were able to lock in their BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 Playoffs spot in 2:0 fashion, facing little resistance from anyone aside from Spirit’s talisman.

At this point, I don’t even know if it’s fair to say that this was an underdog win. PARIVISION have done too much of late to have that title, and Spirit far too little to be favorites for any reason outside of the donk factor. This series kicked off on Spirit’s pick of Anubis, a map that they will swiftly look to put behind them. Despite donk putting up an absurd 2.05 rating for his team, it was only enough to secure three rounds in the entire match, his closest teammate (sh1ro) having 0.70 rating. That essentially tells you the entire narrative of Anubis, with PARIVISION repeatedly putting the pressure on Spirit’s terrible A-site hold to dominate proceedings. A miserable affair for everyone except for donk on Spirit.

PARIVISION’s Ancient pick was a very different story. Spirit were finally able to pick up a solid haul of rounds on their CT side, winning the half 7:5. They had finally arrived, with other players on the team finding some impact. Spirit’s issue arose on the T side, when PARIVISION had all the answers to effectively neuter donk. No donk, no win, as has been the story of Spirit for so long now. They were only able to pick up one T side round, resulting in a 13:8 finish.

Vitality fight through to take down The MongolZ

Vitality were the obvious favorites against The MongolZ, and they lived up to all expectations in a 2:0 win. Despite the loss, The MongolZ emerge out of this one with some credit, having dragged Vitality to a nail-biting overtime on map two.

The MongolZ were able to pick up the opening three rounds of Mirage, and it appeared as though we had a real contest on our hands. It turns out that Vitality were simply not warmed up yet. Once they got rolling, they simply did not stop, with ZywOo producing an absurd 2.22 rating (as well as one of the best AWP flicks you’ll ever see later in the game). He was supported by an equally impressive flameZ, whose 1.87 rating was driven by his server-high 117.9 ADR. Vitality were surgical, and it looked as though The MongolZ didn’t have the fight in them for a competitive series.

They defied all expectations on Vitality’s pick of Overpass. An 8:4 CT side put The MongolZ in the driver’s seat to take this to an Inferno decider, and they secured map point at 12:7. All plain sailing from there, right? Wrong. Remember, this is Vitality we’re speaking about. They were able to find the five straight rounds required to take Overpass to overtime, and The MongolZ will be very disappointed that they couldn’t see it out. They’d feel an awful lot worse about it if it weren’t against Vitality. Impressive showings from Techno and cobrazera were not enough to cross the finish line, as Vitality romped through the latter stages of the match to win 16:13, 2:0 in the series.
