Putting together a themed Counter-Strike loadout can be difficult. To keep things simple, many players opt to keep their entire loadout themed around one particular color, whether that be red, blue, green – whatever you fancy, it can be done. But one color is more difficult than the others. Gold. It’s not for lack of options, so why so tough? It’s the cost. A gold CS2 loadout is not cheap, but regardless, we’re going to show you all the best skins you can use to put together a full gold inventory.

Although the Gold Arabesque seems like the more obvious choice here, the AK-47 The Oligarch is a newer option that is considerably more budget-friendly. There are some who think this looks more like a Valorant skin, and for those players, you’re more than welcome to spend thousands on the Gold Arabesque. But in the absence of that, this sleek, modern AK skin is perfect for this gold CS2 loadout.

We’re not exactly spoiled for choice in the M4 department, but there’s a classic you can rely on in the M4A1-S Golden Coil. Bold gold highlights run throughout the M4A1-S skin, making it stand out perfectly against the core black color. Again, you have a more expensive option here in the M4A1-S Knight, but I actually prefer this cheaper option for his gold CS2 loadout.

If you’re putting together a gold CS2 inventory, there’s only one good choice for the alternate M4. The M4A4 Buzz Kill is one of the best skins in the entire game, featuring some serious industrial vibes. It grabs the attention thanks to the metallic texture work and exposed mechanical parts that really make the gold stand out even more. Slap some NAVI stickers on it for an even better combo.

The AWP The Prince has that royal, old money vibe, with gold highlights almost hiding the red in this ornate AWP skin. The floral engravings enhance that feeling of luxury, as does the Latin inscription. This one absolutely destroys your wallet, but if you want the best gold CS2 loadout, this is a necessary evil, I’m afraid.

With no good USP-S choices, we’ve had to go with a P2K in this gold CS2 inventory. On CT-side, pick up the P2000 Royal Baroque, which admittedly at first glance looks as though it’s more at home in a purple CS2 loadout. But no, the gold regal highlights are more than enough to qualify it for this one. Purple and gold are an unexpected duo that work really well together, and if you can stomach using the P2000, then you need this in your inventory.

There are a few solid Glock skins you could choose here, but really, it’s only ever going to be the Glock-18 Brass. One solid gold block across the top – it’s pretty obvious why this one features on this list. It’s expensive in Factory New, but compromise on the wear rating and you can get this one for a decent price.

For those T-side rushes, you’ll want the Tec-9 Fuel Injector by your side. It’s similar to the M4A4 Buzz Kill in that it has an industrial touch about it, but this one feels a lot cleaner, and the darker areas feel a little classier. It’s very cheap in Minimal Wear, so you can add this to your gold CS2 loadout without worrying about the cost.

The honeycomb patterns on the CZ75-Auto Syndicate make it one of the most unique gold skins in CS2. It has a ton of visual interest to look at, and like other skins here, uses a cool black and gold contrast to stand out on the server.

You’re very limited in the Deagle department when it comes to gold CS2 skins. Not to worry – the Desert Eagle Pilot offers up a low-key option that looks like you took the default Deagle, and added some subtle gold highlights to it. It’s not exactly loud, but if you’re okay with that, then this is the best choice for your gold CS2 inventory.

The P250 Sedimentary thrives on texture. The subtle swirls underneath the gold coloring make it really cool to look at – just don’t get distracted staring during matches. Again, this is quite subtle, but it’s the right fit for the gold CS2 loadout we’re looking for.

Block gold again – it’s the MAC-10 Gold Brick. Those T-side half buys have never looked snazzier. Keep it simple here, and get yourself a gold CS2 skin with a simple block color. If you want to make a little more interesting, there are years worth of Major stickers you can take a look at adding.

It’s the same story with the PP-Bizon Brass. While having a Bizon in your gold CS2 loadout is far from ideal, if you want the perfect commitment to that color scheme, it kind of feels like this one is a necessity. You can’t complain about a lack of gold CS2 skins and not feature this one.

The MP7 was tough, but the MP7 Nemesis is a great candidate for a gold CS2 loadout. Perhaps more yellow than true gold, but it’s all semantics, really. A cool combo of sci-fi and spooky, this gold CS2 skin relies on its highlights to stand out from the crowd.

The P90 ScaraB Rush features intricate golden artwork that looks like it was pulled straight from Anubis. It is perhaps the most interesting gold CS2 skin on this entire list, and if you want to run down your enemies on the B site with style, this is the right choice.

Yep – the SCAR-20 Brass. Another Brass skin. How unique. In truth, it doesn’t need to be unique to fit as part of this gold CS2 loadout. It needs to be, well, gold. And you can’t fault this for that. Don’t worry – this is the last Brass skin on this list.

The FAMAS Commemoration celebrates all the previous maps from Counter-Strike’s history. Yes, even Aztec. That it’s also a great option in any gold CS2 loadout is simply a massive bonus. I’m a huge fan of the beautiful simplicity of this skin.

The SSG 08 Big Iron feels like a Buzz Kill skin in all but name. It’s got that majority-gold color scheme, but maintains that industrial, mechanical aesthetic that gives it a real grittiness. This has to be your Scout skin for your gold CS2 loadout.

You can tell the Sawed-Off Highwayman was added at the very start of CS:GO, because it’s very close to the default skin with some sleek gold highlights added. Not that I’m complaining – it gives the gold CS2 skin a touch of class, and is perfect for players who want to avoid over-the-top choices. The only problem is that you’ve got to have the Sawed-Off in your loadout, and nobody really wants that.

You’ll want to use a Sport Gloves Omega and a Skeleton Knife Tiger Tooth for your knife and glove combo in the gold CS2 loadout. Where the gloves keep things low-key, the knife allows you to be fully bold while still being a perfect color match. The Skeleton Knife is entirely a personal preference based on the unique animations, but you can use any Tiger Tooth knife that you prefer.
