EYEBALLERS, B8, and PARIVISION have locked down the final three Playoffs spots at PGL Bucharest 2026, rounding out the eight teams who will be competing for the trophy over the next few days.

This is not a drill: the year is 2026, and JW is in the Playoffs of a Tier 1 Counter-Strike event. The veteran AWP IGL led his EYEBALLERS team to victory over FOKUS, overcoming great resistance in a 2:1 series that really should have been over in two maps.
FOKUS were the dominant force on their own pick of Inferno, and were able to find 12 rounds pretty early, with EYEBALLERS stuck on seven. The Swedes rallied, and picked up five consecutive to take it to overtime. At this point, the momentum was well and truly in EYEBALLERS’ favor, and they were able to close it out 16:13, with FOKUS left to rue five missed opportunities at match point.
Facing elimination, FOKUS bounced back in style. A 2.06-rated Banjo took charge on Nuke, delivering a hammer blow to EYEBALLERS in a 13:5 win. The series was tied up, but FOKUS were already wondering what might have been had they been able to close Inferno.
EYEBALLERS made them pay for their mistakes. The Dust2 decider started close, but a great performance out of the otherwise-quiet maxster was the difference as EYEBALLERS secured their first-ever Tier 1 Playoffs. And for JW, it’s his first big event Playoffs since IEM Katowice 2020, a remarkable return to the top for a veteran of the game.

It’s hard to frame this in a way that’s positive for Legacy. They looked completely timid against a young B8 side that themselves have struggled for any kind of consistency. Here, B8 ran out 2:0 winners, and the series never looked as though it was going any other way.
Two 9:3 halves to both Dust2 and Ancient for B8 put them in the driving seat, and made it extremely difficult for Legacy to have any success. The kill spread on the team was pretty remarkable, with esenthial (32), s1zzi (33), kenzisor (30), and npl (33) all being within a few kills of each other. A real team effort. While alex666 may have had a tough day at the office, the captain had everything he needed to get the win in the form of his other players. 13:9 and 13:4 map wins ensured that B8 secured their Playoffs berth at PGL Bucharest 2026.

PARIVISION and Wildcard played out a 2:0 series longer than most best-of-threes to decide the final spot in the PGL Bucharest Playoffs. In the end, it was the favorites who came out on top, as Jame‘s team found the answers to move past a spirited Wildcard showing.
The Mirage starter between PARIVISION and Wildcard proved to be one of the longest matches of Tier 1 Counter-Strike you’ll see all year, requiring 54 rounds to find a winner. Five overtimes in total. After surviving going 12:8 down and pulling it back to extend play, Wildcard started to pull ahead in every single overtime, wasting seven match points before PARIVISION were finally able to close it out 28:26. Pour one out for reck, who found himself on the losing team despite putting up 50(!) kills on the scoreboard.
It seemed as though Wildcard were unfazed by their failure on the previous map, and came out on Dust2 firing on all cylinders. An 8:4 half set them up well to tie up the series, but a rock-solid PARIVISION CT side meant their efforts were all in vain. Once again, regulation went all 24 rounds, but this time, PARIVISION were able to see it out 13:11.
The 2:0 scoreline doesn’t quite do justice to how close Wildcard came to eliminating PARIVISION here. They will feel they should have taken at least one map, and really, it could have been a 2:0 the other way. For the next stage of PGL Bucharest 2026, we’ll need to see some more refined Counter-Strike from Jame’s team if they’re to have a realistic chance of lifting the trophy.
