We’re all very excited about the release of Cache in Counter-Strike 2. However, players have reported a Cache CS2 sound bug, which causes the game’s audio to fully cut out while playing the map. Luckily, this is a very easy fix – here’s how to do it.

Fix Cache CS2 Sound Gone Glitch

If you’re playing a game on Cache, you may find that your sound cuts out completely. If this happens, don’t worry. You don’t need to leave the game. Open your in-game settings and follow these steps:

  • Open the Audio tab
  • Under “Audio Device” open the drop-down menu and select a different audio option
  • Revert back to your original device

If done correctly, you should have all your sound back.

This is just a temporary solution, and hopefully Valve is able to quickly resolve this frustrating bug. It’s not clear what causes the Cache CS2 sound glitch right now, but it’s pretty common.
