According to a report by Finnish outlet Iltalehti, which Hotspawn has machine translated via Google Translate, Aleksib faces a charge of aggravated tax fraud relating to an alleged offence between May 19th and September 22nd, 2020, in Vantaa.

The case has now been brought before Finnish courts, and is set for April 2026.

Iltalehti reached out to Aleksib for further comment. According to the player, “he cannot comment on the unfinished business,” although he did clarify that “it relates to the income from competitive gaming.”

Aleksib is set to appear in Sweden for NAVI at the ESL Pro League Season 23 Playoffs on March 13th, before heading to Denmark to play the opening stages of BLAST Open Spring 2026 later this month.
