So the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 stickers are here, and with it, Valve has made another surprising new addition: the CS2 Sticker Slab. This has left some players confused, and it could potentially have some effect on the sticker market.
The CS2 Sticker Slab is a new type of charm that allows you to encase stickers inside, and attach them to your weapon. Stickers can be removed from the Sticker Slab at any time, and re-used again as an actual sticker in-game. It gives “sealed Pokemon card” vibes.
Long-term, this means fewer stickers will be used by players, who instead choose to use the Sticker Slab in CS2 instead of using up their stickers. It won’t be long before we see the first Titan Holo CS2 Sticker Slab, I’m sure. Despite being released alongside the Budapest Major update, it’s worth noting that you can use the Sticker Slabs with any sticker.
Open your inventory and hover over the sticker you want to turn into a Sticker Slab. Left-click it and press the “Seal in Sticker Slab” option. You have to purchase the Sticker Slab, which costs $0.49. From there, click the “Seal in Sticker Slab” option again. From there, you now just need to attach it like any other CS2 charm.

Also, a reminder that while you can remove your stickers from the Sticker Slabs at any time, they are a one-time use. When you remove your sticker, the Sticker Slab will not re-enter your inventory – you’ll need to buy another.
