CS2 Infinite Ammo Command Guide – Never Reload Again

The CS2 infinite ammo command does what it says on the tin. Gone are the days of worrying about bullet counts; instead, you have unlimited ammo to dominate on the server. Infinite Ammo CS2 Command – Reload On and Off

To use the CS2 infinite ammo command, you have to be playing in a private match. There’s no way to get infinite ammo in regular online CS2 matches, as this would be incredibly broken and give you an unfair advantage. Anything like that is more than likely to land you a permanent VAC ban, in fact. But in private matches, there are tons of reasons you might want unlimited ammo, from practicing wallbangs to trolling your friends with the Negev spray in spawn. It’s all valid.

To enable the infinite ammo CS2 command, you first need to ensure that sv_cheats is enabled. This is important, as it essentially tells the game that cheat commands should be enabled in this lobby. Load up your private match, open the developer console using the tilde key, and enter this CS2 console command:

• sv_cheats 1

Now you’re ready to enter the CS2 unlimited ammo command. There are two ways you can do this: with reloading and without reloading. These commands are as follows:

CS2 Infinite Ammo Command (No Reloading)

• sv_infinite_ammo 1

CS2 Infinite Ammo Command (Reloading)

• sv_infinite_ammo 2

If you choose to enter the command that still allows reloading (sv_infinite_ammo 2), then your bullets will drain from your clip, and you’ll need to reload at the end of it, but your mag count will never actually go down. This is in contrast to the command without reloading (sv_infinite_ammo 1), which will let you spray any automatic weapon permanently without using any bullets. This doesn’t change the standard spray pattern for any weapon.

One of the most useful instances for the unlimited ammo CS2 command is utility training. The command also makes it so that you have infinite grenades, perfect for smoke and flash lineups. Combine this with other CS2 practice commands, and you’re good to go.

Infinite Ammo in Practice

The CS2 infinite ammo command is very useful when practicing with friends, but if you’re just looking to play solo in an offline server, there’s a much easier way to get unlimited bullets and utility. When loading up the game, press Play, and open the Practice tab. From there, select either Competitive or Casual, and make sure that under the Options menu, “Infinite Ammo” is turned on.

If you select this, your practice server will have infinite ammo, meaning you don’t have to enter any command at all. You can still change the parameter to sv_infinite_ammo 2 after the fact, if you still want to reload your weapon. Still, it’s good to be aware that you don’t necessarily have to go through the fuss of the infinite ammo CS2 command every time, depending on what you’re playing.
