Call of Duty League Teams and Starting Rosters

The Call of Duty League starts up in 2020. With twelve newly franchised, city-based teams to keep track of, Hotspawn’s got you covered with a complete list!

Atlanta FaZe

A collaboration between FaZe Clan and Atlanta Esports Ventures, Atlanta FaZe’s branding was revealed on October 26. Atlanta Esports Ventures also own Overwatch League expansion team, the Atlanta Reign.

Chicago Huntsmen

Owned and operated by NRG Esports (who also operate the Overwatch League’s San Francisco Shock), the Chicago Call of Duty team also has Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez, formerly of OpTic Gaming, as its CEO. The branding went live on October 31.

Dallas Empire

Envy Gaming revealed branding for the Dallas Empire on October 19 after revealing one player per day for the preceding five days. The organization also runs the Dallas Fuel in the Overwatch League.

Florida Mutineers

The Florida Mutineers revealed their branding on October 28. The organization is operated by Misfits Gaming, who also run the Overwatch League’s Florida Mayhem.

London Royal Ravens

On October 15, ReKTGlobal revealed the London Royal Ravens. ReKTGlobal also operates Rogue, a popular esports organization. The London Royal Ravens were the first organization to reveal a starting player.

OpTic Gaming Los Angeles

Immortals Gaming Club acquired Infinite Esports and Entertainment, the parent company of OpTic Gaming in June. On October 24, they revealed their Call of Duty League branding will be OpTic Gaming Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Guerrillas

On October 18, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment revealed the Los Angeles Guerrillas brand. The colors of the brand are in line with Kroenke’s Overwatch League team, the Los Angeles Gladiators.

Minnesota Røkkr

WISE Ventures, LLC owns and operates the Minnesota Røkkr, whose branding was announced on October 29. The org has an active podcast describing the process of developing the team.

The New York Subliners revealed their branding on October 21. They are owned by Andbox, which is backed by Sterling.VC, who also operate Overwatch League’s New York Excelsior.

Paris Legion

c0ntact Gaming, LLC, which also operates Overwatch League’s Paris Eternal, will run the Paris Call of Duty League team. The organization’s seven players were announced on October 5, and their branding was the last to be released, on November 2.

Seattle’s Call of Duty League team is a joint venture between Enthusiast Gaming and Canucks Sports & Entertainment. Enthusiast Gaming also operates the Vancouver Titans in the Overwatch League. The team announced their branding on October 30.

Toronto Ultra

On October 24, OverActive Media announced the Toronto Ultra at an event hosted in Toronto, Canada. OverActive also own the Overwatch League’s Toronto Defiant.
