Call of Duty League Reveals Stage One Groups

The 2021 Call of Duty League Stage One Groups were revealed during the Call of Duty Kickoff Classic on Sunday, and fans can look forward to three weeks of intense matches.

A representative from each Call of Duty team participated in a group selection show to determine the Stage One groups. The inaugural CDL champions, the Dallas Empire, were automatically placed in Group A. The Atlanta FaZe finished in second place last season and were automatically placed in Group B. Dallas picked the first team for Group B, and Atlanta received the second pick Each team selected picked another team for the opposite group, and the reverse snake draft proceeded until all 12 teams were placed in a group.

There will be three stages during the 2021 Call of Duty League season, and each team will compete in five matches in each stage. All teams will compete in a Major Tournament at the end of each stage, and their performance throughout the Stage determines their seeding in each Major.

Each Major features a $500,00 prize pool and rewards teams more CDL Points based on their performance.

Stage One of the 2021 Call of Duty League season begins on February 11th. The Atlanta FaZe is hosting the opening weekend, and fans can expect every team to make an appearance.
