The Copenhagen Flames roster found themselves down a core roster after their last roster departed to the new x6stence roster. The team has been rebuilding for several months and has now completed their new Danish squad with the return of the former in-game leader.

During the last stint AciIioN had with the team, they managed to climb into the top 30 teams in the world. It was this short-term success that made MAD Lions look to AciIioN for their own success.

Daniel Vorborg, director of esports for Copenhagen Flames said: “I am very pleased to announce the return of such a talented leader as Asger. We know him very well from his last stay here, and even though we only had him for six months he had a tremendous impact on our journey in CS:GO. Both Asger and I value having a good working relationship between management and in-game leader extremely high. The main reason why this transfer was possible is definitely in part due to the two of us knowing exactly what we will be able to get out of each other. He fits well into our goals, visions, values, and the community that we would like to build in and around our club. This move should definitely be seen as our first step towards wanting more. We want Copenhagen Flames to be a consistent factor in international CS:GO and I believe our investment in Asger shows that.”

With the signing, MAD Lions’ roster continues to drop its player count. Pawel “innocent” Mocek recently left the MAD roster after only competing with MAD for several weeks. The team is going through a rough transition phase and needs to rebuild its roster before the Flashpoint 2 event kicks off on November 9.

The Copenhagen Flames roster is as follows:

Sebastian “Basso” Aagaard
Jakob “Jabbi” Nygaard
Jakob “Daffu” Schildt
Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjid
Asger “AcilioN” Larsen
